		<description><![CDATA[I don&#039;t know if I&#039;ve mentioned this, but I use the term &quot;intron&quot; to describe bits of my Fortran code that are not being used but are still in the file (subroutines not called, lines commented out, things that are calculated but not used). Of course, I have to explain to the non-biologists what it means, but when I do they like the term. I haven&#039;t heard any other programmers use it, though.]]></description>
